Terms of use.

Last updated: June 23, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at simpleppli.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Educational purpose only

simpleppli.com is an independent educational resource focused on Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) — an institutional life insurance wrapper used by UHNW families, family offices, RIAs, and tax attorneys. All content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and is not tax, legal, insurance, investment, or accounting advice — to anyone, for any purpose, on any individual fact pattern.

2. No professional relationship

Using the Site, contacting us through any form, downloading a guide, or corresponding with the editorial team does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, insurance, advisory, fiduciary, or other professional relationship between you and simpleppli.com or its contributors. PPLI is a private securities offering available only to Accredited Investors and Qualified Purchasers; implementation requires qualified tax counsel, insurance counsel, and licensed insurance professionals who can evaluate the specific facts, jurisdiction, carrier, and trust structure involved.

3. Accuracy and updates

We work to keep content accurate, but tax law, regulations, IRS guidance, insurance regulation, and carrier practices evolve. Content may be incomplete, out of date, or superseded by later developments at any time. We may add, change, or remove content without notice and make no warranty that the Site or any content is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, diagrams, logos, page layouts, and the “simpleppli.com” name and design — is owned by or licensed to simpleppli.com and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may view, print, and share links to pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, redistribute, resell, repurpose for AI training, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.

5. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites, publications, or resources for convenience and reference. We do not control those resources, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability. Following an outbound link is at your own risk.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Your use of the Site is at your sole risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, simpleppli.com, its owners, contributors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will our aggregate liability exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless simpleppli.com and its contributors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your reliance on any content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to the Site are governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the state in which the operator of simpleppli.com is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in that jurisdiction for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or another agreed dispute resolution mechanism.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be effective when posted, and your continued use of the Site after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
